Returns

We currently issue a 7 day return policy from your order date, provided that the goods are returned in unopened, saleable condition.

We are happy to refund or exchange your order, but we are unable to provide credit notes.

You must notify us in writing to ew@edwardwatts-opticians.co.uk or our postal address (shown below) within 7 days of your order date if you are returning or exchanging any products:

Please ensure you return your unused goods, as sold. This includes original packaging, tags and labels, within 7 days of order date. We will process your return and determine if you are eligible to receive a full refund as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days on which you gave us notice of cancellation. If we determine a full refund, we will refund the price of the Product in full and any applicable delivery charges. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. If we believe you are not eligible for a full refund we will contact you using the contact details provided.

If you are exchanging, you will need to let us know which product(s) you would prefer. We will refund the price difference between your item and a cheaper one, or require extra payment to match the price of a more expensive one.  You will need to pay for any return postage (MUST be sent via recorded post) but the replacement item(s) will be sent for free.

Shipping

All UK deliveries are shipped at the flat rate of £4.10 per order.  If you are visually impaired (or buying on behalf of someone who is), postage will be reduced to £1.10.  At the moment, we do not ship outside the UK.

Your parcel will arrive within 3-5 working days (excluding weekends) after the order is placed (depending on stock levels, which we will keep you informed of).

We ship our parcels by Royal Mail 2nd class delivery.  Deliveries are not made on UK Bank Holidays and these are not counted as working days.

A signature will be required upon receipt. If you need your item(s) to be shipped to a location other than you billing address (e.g., work), be sure to input the correct delivery location on the checkout screen.

We reserve the right to withhold delivery to any particular place or location at our sole discretion.

I’ve received a wrong item.

One of my items is missing, what do I do?

If one of your items is missing from your order,  please call us on 01277 212978 or email us on ew@edwardwatts-opticians.com and we will send it out to you, free of charge.
